The Firm
Relationship capital, applied to healthcare companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
We are a consulting and venture firm with primary interests in the healthcare space — health SaaS, medical devices and consumer health. Our work sits where operating experience meets capital: shaping the company so the raise, the partnership or the commercial launch actually lands.
The firm works deeply with family offices across the United States, particularly in the Northeast, conducting diligence, advising and presenting deals where appropriate. In the UK we operate across pharmacy, primary care and device networks, from The Pharmacy Show in Birmingham to BIO International and the Angel Capital Association Summit.
Our approach draws directly on Keiretsu Forum principles — rigorous, evidence-led diligence — and drives them into every business we engage.
Services
Three mandates, delivered by operators who have carried them personally.
Fundraising Preparedness
Positioning, materials, data room and narrative discipline — so the company walks into the room already answering the questions investors are about to ask. Built on Keiretsu Forum diligence standards.
Business Development & Commercial Strategy
Route-to-market design, partner sourcing and channel execution across US and UK healthcare — pharmacy, primary care, device and outpatient networks.
Fractional CFO Services
Financial modelling, board reporting, capital planning and investor-grade metrics for companies between seed and institutional rounds.

Founding Partner
Zach Starr
A seasoned entrepreneur with more than twelve years as a founder, operator, investor, mentor, advisor and board member.
Zach has raised millions in private investment through a notably dry funding climate by ensuring his portfolio companies demonstrate the signals investors actually underwrite — traction, governance, unit economics and a defensible commercial plan.
He has represented Quix Labs and a cohort of Keiretsu Forum companies at the Angel Capital Association Summit, pitching in front of 500+ people with an aggregate of more than $1B of capital in the room.
A proud state-school alumnus, Zach graduated from Pennsylvania's West Chester University with a strong academic and extracurricular record. He was personally appointed by the Dean of the Business College as the university's first-ever Student Entrepreneur in Residence, and represented the university nationally — finishing second overall in the largest annual collegiate startup competition in Minnesota, founded by the founder of Best Buy, and securing thousands in non-dilutive funding.
Quix Labs
President, CEO & Chairman of the BoardHealth-tech company in the smoking cessation space, headquartered in Philadelphia and London.
Healthcare on Demand
Board MemberUrgent care alternatives for orthopedic injuries with instant access to orthopedic surgeons across California.
Pharmlogic Group
AdvisorSaaS healthcare company acting as the AI layer in healthcare — helping pharmacies, doctors, dentists, opticians and outpatient hospitals understand patient conditions, communicate compliantly and refer appropriately.
Companies we build with

Two Markets, One Firm
A live line between Philadelphia and London.
Capital, partners and commercial routes move in both directions — US family offices and investor networks on one side, UK pharmacy, primary care and device networks on the other.
Global Reach
From Philadelphia boardrooms to the exhibition floors of Birmingham.
Four-time participant at The Pharmacy Show, the largest annual pharmacy-based conference in England, and a veteran of the BIO International Convention — representing both Quix Labs and a dissolvable microneedle patch company on business development, engaging Korean and German partners for the British business. That work extends into primary care through the Community Pharmacy and General Practice Conference and Best Practice, the largest gathering of physicians and respiratory specialists in Europe.
